Change of meds…4 AM

Change of meds today (yesterday).

Geodon to Latuda (my anti-psychotic). Geodon has been setting my skin on fire/electric, tightening of all my muscles, and skin trails. Like when coming down from an acid trip (yes, I know that feeling all too well-decades ago).

It makes me uncomfortable and anxious and it sucks.

I always thought it was probably the Ritalin.

Process of elimination showed it was not.

So here I am wide awake at 4 am. I haven’t slept yet.

Fun Latuda side effects I am finding out: I feel like my body is a wound up spring ready to burst. Changes in body temperature that are making me absolutely nuts. One minute I’m freezing and the next I’m burning up.

Brain is wound up as well.

We also changed my nightly Xanax to Valium because of its more muscle relaxing effects. In hopes of helping me be less tense.

It made me super drowsy for about an hour, but never could sleep. Brain is just way too overdrive right now.

Just ended up taking a second Valium 5 hours later.

Here’s hoping… but if it works, there goes all the shit I have to get done later today.
